Another kitchen update

Well, we are getting closer!  We have working appliances, and cabinets!  We moved in to the new space today by putting everything away.  Now we are just waiting for some cabinet doors, shelves, backsplash, electrical....Maybe by February???

What to wear?

We realized that Mayson hadn't had the chance to get her inner girlie going, so we had some fun playing with bows.  I think it just confirmed she is happier in her normal casual dress style :)

8 weeks old

Mayson is getting to be a big girl!  We got out the measuring tape today and she was 23 inches long already.  She is getting to be quite a character, smiling all the time (or screaming to let us know we're not doing something the way she wants).  She went to her first birthday celebration to honor Josephine who turned three, and she met with all the other babies born in 2010--Will, Campbell, Mia, and Sidney.  She is loving her carseat for walks around the lake, and is enjoying Thursday afternoon outings with her grandparents. 

6 weeks old

Mayson is really loving her photo shoots!  She tolerates them with a mix of emotions ranging from anger to resigned acceptance :)  Here are her six week pics:

A couple of weeks have passed...

Things got a little crazy after Mayson turned 4 weeks old and she decided to become more alert.  She has decided that she wants to eat every 3 hours, which makes for some long nights for us.  We've had a lot of fun playing with her during the day, we even think we have seen our first real smiles!  She even went to her first movie the other day. She had a check up with the Dr. and she now weighs a whopping 9lbs, 4oz.  She is even starting to grow out of a few of her newborn sleepers.  Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks:
