10 Weeks Old

Mayson is 10 weeks old today!  She has been smiling lots and sleeping at night for a whole 6 hours at a stretch.  She is doing a great job entertaining herself more by staring at the birdie mobile above her crib, watching mom make dinner, and kicking around in her chair.  She is eating lots too! At her check-up last week she was 10lbs, 12oz which put her in the 50th percentile, and 23 inches long which was in the 75th percentile for height at her age.  You can see by the picture of her laying on top of laundry that there wasn't time in our day to make her official 10 week sign :)

Mayson's California Adventure

Mayson took her first plane ride for an impromptu adventure to California. Keri had work to do at the airport, so we joined him Thursday through Monday to have a fun family outing and get some sun.  Baby Mayson did a great job!  She slept on the plane, napped during long sunny walks, played by the pool, went hiking at the beach, and went out for some great dinners and fro-yo.  She made friends with the staff at the hotel, and everyone on the plane loved her.  Here are some pics of her travels.
