It was Mayson's first birthday on November 24th, so we celebrated and had Thanksgiving-Mayson-Palooza. It was an all day affair that started off bright and early with a Turkey Trot at Greenlake with our hearty weather friends, Shawna, Dan, and Blake, and Grandma and Grandpa Rosen. Then we had lots of birthday friends come over and celebrate with yummy baked treats. Joey, Hope, Josephine, Will, Noah, and Blake helped Mayson open her presents and showed her how to play with her new toys. Mayson had no problem digging into her carrot cake cupcake! Later in the day we had a visit from Hannah and Cole and puppy Bentley before we got ready for our Thanksgiving guests! Jennie, Mike, Tom,, and Grandma and Grandpa came over for dinner and Keri cooked his first delicious turkey! Mayson even had enough energy left over the next day to comb through the Black Friday ads. They were actually more interesting to her than her birthday toys. Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate a great day!
